How we check US deals

Penny Muse records a retailer’s price for one item, colour or size selection and shows when it was checked. All prices are in US dollars. You buy directly from the retailer.

What does a percentage off mean?

We subtract the observed sale price from the reference price shown for the same variant, divide by that reference price and round to the nearest percent. A reduction from $40 to $30 works out to 25% off. That comparison describes the retailer’s own markdown.

Does the lowest price give me the lowest total?

Compare the delivered total for the same item. For example, a $20 item with $7 shipping costs $27 before tax. An equivalent $24 item with free shipping costs $3 less. Check the return terms before deciding whether the saving is worth it.

What does final sale mean for this edit?

Look at the specific colour, wash and size. When the retailer marks that selection final sale, we flag the restriction. For example, BAGGU describes sale-collection purchases as final sale in its returns policy. Confirm the terms on the item before checkout.

How current are the prices?

A card shows the date of its source check. We display the comparison for up to 7 days, or less when a promotion has a known end time. After that, use the retailer link to check the latest price. Stock can change earlier.

Who handles checkout, shipping and returns?

The retailer handles the order. Product pages link to the exact listing so you can confirm size, stock, tax, delivery and returns. An affiliate buying link is labelled when Penny Muse may earn a commission.
